On this itinerary, we dive some of the top highlights of the Red Sea. The steep coral walls of all dive sites are absolutely worth seeing. Giant gorgonians, countless hard and soft corals, large schools of fish.
Do some fast drift dives in Brothers Island. Visit the beautiful lighthouse of Daedalus and with luck, you will meet hammerhead sharks underwater. The world-famous Elphinstone reef, known for its big fish sightings.
The blue water can hold some big surprises. Sharks, manta rays, barracudas, tunas, dolphins.

Big Brother and its landmark, the lighthouse. Elevated it stands on the island. Surrounded by a fringing reef, which first drops vertically by 60 to 80 metres to a plateau and then to a greater depth. Two wrecks lying on the seabed in front of the northern tip of the island. The Numidia, a 145-meter-long English merchant ship that had loaded railway material and sank in 1901. The Aida, situated on the western wall, is an Egyptian merchant ship that sank in 1947 due to bad weather. The Brothers can be way too wild, but you are always rewarded with big hunters. There is the possibility of hammerhead sharks, thresher sharks, longimanus, manta rays, dolphins and napoleons.
The little Brother who's as good as his big brother. It has an underwater plateau in the north on about 40 meters. The south, west and east sides drop into the sea without plateaus. The reef is populated with lots of black corals and huge gorgonians. The Brothers can be way too wild, but you are always rewarded with big hunters. There is the possibility of hammerhead sharks, thresher sharks, longimanus, manta rays, dolphins and napoleons.
This huge reef rises from the bottom of the sea in the middle of the Red Sea as an island. At Daedalus the landmark is the lighthouse, which can also be visited. The reef is surrounded by coral walls and strong currents. The perfect place for drift dives. It offers some of the most extraordinary and beautiful dives in the Red Sea. Just close your eyes and imagine drifting past the overgrown cliffs and enjoying the underwater life. The regular visitors are: hammerhead sharks, longimanus, dolphins, manta rays, napoleons, turtles, large moray eels.
Elphinstone is one of the most famous and beautiful reefs in Egypt. The reef stretches over a length of 400 meter and features two plateaus, one on each end. The northern plateau is famous for is beautiful coral growth and the chance to see Hammerhead Sharks, whether the plateau in the south is well known for the regular Oceanic White tip Shark (Longimanus) encounter between autumn and spring. Beside the plateaus, the walls on the east and the west side offer beautiful vertical walls with lots of soft corals and Gorgonian fence corals, due to the strong current which is often present. When diving Elphinstone, always keep an eye in the blue, as there are often pelagic fish passing by.
